Credit where credit is due I cannot think of a more bespoke or better crafted car on the market. Unlike most super cars you can see the goodies in the engine bay. Unlike most super cars is seems to be mechanical. Unlike most super cars it is extremely rare (relatively speaking of course.) Passion to me best describes the Huayra. Think I am wrong? Then tell what car currently made is better

"Due"..not "do." Got it? Okay, no continue. You were saying?

Is V12 Zagato is still for sale? That's the best car currently made.

This car doesn't look good in red. I hate it in this color. Any color is better than red on this car.

I hate Italian supercars in red

I'm with you its just so damn perfect. The p1 is a close second imo. But I love a car that is amazing because of just how it, not the speed it can achieve. Because we all know a faster car will come, sooner than later.

"I cannot think of a more bespoke or better crafted car on the market."
Although it perhaps doesn't qualify as a "supercar", in my opinion the Singer 911 offers a similar level of attention to detail and old-world, "analog" craftsmanship and mechanical precision.

Damn damn damn I didn't even think to reread it nice catch

The best part is that I made a typo when correcting you! WOO-HOO!

If this car had 400hp but still had an engine bay as beautiful as the Huayra I would still buy it. There are few super cars where horsepower takes a backseat but this is one of them.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 17:20 |
|
But that car is not where near as beautiful. Way more focused a great car but in a different less nerdy more speed freak kinda way.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 17:23 |

The Singer is more analog but it is also an older car. I wouldn't call it a modern car being made today. But you do make point the Singer might be more pure

My biggest problem is the interior looks the same (besides the fancy stitching). I do give it bonus points however for manual tranny

The Z06 is an evil evil thing.

The MAIN reason why I don't agree with you on the Huayra.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 17:27 |

I have to admit it would probably make the Huayra cry like a little girl

Hahahaha nice!!!

Pagani did say they would make one if you asked nicely

Karma wastes no time with me.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 17:33 |
|
Yeah, that's true. And you're right, it's not really "on the market" as it were. Still, the OCD level of attention to detail is something I've rarely seen from other vehicle designers, besides Pagani.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 17:35 |
|
Wow I forgot about that. Now I'm gonna go insane from want.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 17:41 |

I mean when you stamp every single one of your titanium bolts that no one can see with a Pagani logo you deserve to be one of the greatest companies on Earth

See what I mean? It is hard to resist once you have tasted the forbidden fruit.

*cries from lack of opportunity to buy Huayra*

That's the real tragedy here.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 17:54 |

Haha. For sure. Singer actually offers the options of chrome plated bolts so that you can't see the markings on the bolt heads. Makes sense why/how those things can be so expensive.

Much Hemi. Very horsepower.

This guy gets it.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 18:50 |

Imagine the Huayra, as you described it, but with a beautiful body like the Zonda's. I love Pagani and the Zonda and I've tried hard to like the Huayra but that whaleface I will never get over. Such a damn shame.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 18:51 |

Looks are in the eye of the beholder. I love the looks of the Huayra perhaps more so than the Zonda.
![]() 08/18/2014 at 19:03 |

Good to have that love! The Huayra has been very well received in general - imo this is the most loved car with a polarising face of late...everything else about the car is so impressive and some really exquisite design details but I don't think even seeing it in person would get me over the front as I've seen it from so many angles :| And believe me I want to fall for it (though I hated the Enzo's front when I first saw it and now I don't get why I did!)
![]() 08/18/2014 at 21:45 |
|
There are some car designs I don't like at first and then they begin to grow on me. i was once with you on the face of the Huayra but now I have come to enjoy it
![]() 08/19/2014 at 04:10 |

You had my Enzo awakening! Well rule number one a supercar should be very sleek from the front, you shove the engine in the back so there really should be a small a front as possible. So while I did eventually fall for the Enzo, it's also why I say I might never fall for the Huayra. I hope I am wrong one day :)
